Cornell University students at Ton Duc Thang University

The professors and students from Cornell University have just finished their exchange week at the Faculty of Labor Relations and Trade Unions, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). Founded in 1865, Cornell University is the youngest member of Ivy League which is the association of the 8 prestigious American universities and academies with the high education quality. During the exchange week, students from both universities participated in different academic and extra activities: the seminar “minimum wages”; the online exchange with TDTU students at Nha Trang Campus; the study of labor relations at companies, a visit to Mekong Delta, and the organization of Student Debate.

Under the open and hospitable environment of TDTU students in general and that of Faculty of Labor Relations and Trade Unions students in specific, the exchange week made great impressions on Cornell University students. Moreover, TDTU students had valuable chances to exchange knowledge with staff and students from such a prestigious university in the United States where 46 professors and alumni won the Nobel prize.
