Ton Duc Thang University Appoints Adjunct Professor

On the afternoon of June 21, 2022, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) awarded the Adjunct Professor title appointment letter to Professor Harry Futselaar from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands.

This is an activity to recognize the enthusiastic contributions of the Professor in the past time at the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety, and also strengthen the traditional cooperation relationship between TDTU and Saxion University.

Professor Harry Futselaar is currently the Director of the International Water Technology Institute at Saxion University. In the past time, he has made many effective contributions to the training and research of the Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety such as granting the scholarship to study abroad in a semester at Saxion University for some students of the faculty, participating in organizing international conferences and applied research seminars, providing experimental equipment for specialized research, connecting the faculty with water industry enterprises in Vietnam and the Netherlands, orienting the technology research in the field of water and wastewater treatment, to name a few.

Saxion University is one of the largest institutions of higher education in the Netherlands. The university has 44 majors with nearly 27,000 students, including many international students from 55 countries around the world. It has had a close cooperation relationship with TDTU for many years. The two sides have implemented many effective cooperation programs in education and scientific research.
