On September 20, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a ceremony to conclude the Academic Year 2023-2024, and welcoming students of Intake 28 to the Opening of the Academic Year 2024-2025, with the joy of its 27th Anniversary Celebration (September 24, 1997 - September 24, 2024).

On September 23, 2024, representatives of Massey University, New Zealand, led by Dr. Jeffrey Stangl – Director of the Strategic and International Partnerships and Ms. Ha-Lien Ton - College International Advisor visited and worked at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

On July 31, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) welcomed and worked with the delegation of Skoda Auto in Vietnam (Skoda Vietnam).

On July 26 and 27, 2024, the 3rd International Conference on Innovations in The Social Sciences & Humanities 2024 (ISSH 2024) was held at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

The conference was co-organized by TDTU with the University of Melbourne (Australia), Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania), Higher School of Economics (Russia), Jadavpur University (India), London Metropolitan University (UK), Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine (Sri Lanka), and Walailak University (Thailand).

On July 22, 2024, the representative of Université Côte d'Azur (UCA) - Assoc. Prof. Marc Gaetano - Professor in Computer Science at Polytech Nice Sophia & Head of International Office visited and had a working session at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
