Signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement with La Trobe University

On March 25, 2019, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) welcomed La Trobe University (Australia). The delegation led by Prof. Kelly Smith, the Vice President who was in charge of international affairs. On TDTU side, there were Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Vice President, and other Deans from the faculties of Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Business Administration and International Education.

At the meeting, the two sides signed a cooperation agreement on education, including the contents such as granting scholarships to TDTU students to study at La Trobe University; implementing campus-based exchanging education programs for students from Information Technology Faculty and Civil Engineering Faculty.
Previously, on January 22, 2019, La Trobe University Representative worked with TDTU. The two sides exchanged a memorandum of education and research programs that are expected to be implemented. This meeting officially concluded the co-implementation of a number of priority programs in the Memorandum, starting right from 2019.

La Trobe University is an Australian public university, founded in 1964, ranked 397 in the world by QS World University Rankings. The university currently has 35,000 students enrolled on 7 campuses across Australia, including 8,000 international students.
