Bun Pi May and Chol Chnam Thmey at Ton Duc Thang University

On the afternoon of April 16, 2022, the Festival "Traditional New Year Bun Pi May and Chol Chnam Thmey" for Lao and Cambodian international students studying at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) was organized at the University’s dormitory.
Participants included representatives of the university's leaders, heads of some units, and the Youth Union - Student Union of the university along with international students from Laos and Cambodia. Especially, there was the participation of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Kith Sothearith.
Mr. Tran Le Anh Huy - Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of TDTU sent his best wishes to Lao and Cambodian students on the occasion of the traditional New Year. Representatives of students from Laos and Cambodia also expressed their gratitude for the University's valuable attention and support.
The cultural performances to be imbued with the national identity of Laos and Cambodia were implemented, which made the festival more exciting. The international students also recreated their country's traditional rituals such as the wrist thread band, eating traditional national dishes, etc.
The program is organized with the desire to create a warm atmosphere, spread cultural beauty, and the best things to international students from Laos and Cambodia.
