Meeting with the Deputy Minister of Education and Sports of the Lao PDR and Lao students

On the afternoon of September 23, 2022, on the occasion of attending the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of Ton Duc Thang University (September 24, 1997-24 September 2022), Mrs. Khanthaly Siriphongphanh - Deputy Minister of Education and Sports Sports Lao PDR had an intimate meeting with Lao students studying at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). The meeting was also attended by Dr. Vu Anh Duc - Chairman of the University Council, Mr. Le Anh Huy - Secretary of the Youth Union, Ton Duc Thang University, representatives of Laos Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and Lao students studying at TDTU.
During 25 years of establishment and development, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) has contributed to training many international students in a quality way; including students from the Lao People's Democratic Republic. Many Lao students at undergraduate and graduate levels were granted full scholarships by the University and created the most favorable conditions to study at TDTU. This is a practical contribution of the University in building the special friendship relationship between the two countries. On this occasion, Mrs. Khanthaly Siriphongphanh thanked TDTU for wholeheartedly supporting both material and spiritual conditions for Lao students to study and live. Besides, she also reminded Lao students to study hard and practice well to repay the support of the University and make practical contributions to the socio-economic development of the country - Lao PDR.
Sharing at the event, Dr. Vu Anh Duc emphasized the friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. The fact that Lao students choose to study at Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam is very respectful, thereby contributing to the development of Vietnam and Laos.
