Established in the year 1967, the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is a dynamic, Australian university, dedicated to providing high-quality programs and degrees in a flexible and supportive environment. USQ has established its position as a prominent teaching and research institution providing education worldwide from three physical locations (Toowoomba, Springfield, and Ipswich) with an extensive online presence. The University of Southern Queensland has jumped 30 spots to place 86th in the prestigious 2022 Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings, which focuses on the world’s universities aged 50 or younger. The university is also ranked in the Top 500 in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

The University of Southern Queensland offers over 700 specialized professional degree programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The university has two faculties housing six schools each that offer programs in various disciplines of business, management, education, law, arts, commerce, humanities, health and nursing, engineering, sciences, communication, and creative arts. USQ has a separate college that facilitates indigenous education and research for Torres Strait Islanders and the Aboriginal community. The Open Access College of the university offers several special programs that will equip students with the knowledge and skills for academic success. Besides this, it extends over 100 online programs to facilitate flexible learning for working professionals.
