A visit of Ton Duc Thang University to Tomas Bata University in Zlin

On May 24, 2023, the delegation of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) led by Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President visited and worked with the Presidential Board, Deans of faculties and Head of the Centre of Polymer Systems of Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Czech Republic.

The two sides exchanged contents of bilateral cooperation in training and exchanging lecturers and students, cooperation in scientific research and technology transfer, co-organizing international seminars, developing joint programs, etc. On this occasion, the two Presidents signed an MOU on bilateral cooperation in training doctoral level in the form of sandwich.

The TDTU delegation also worked with a number of faculties to promote the cooperation in various fields, such as higher education, developing the scale of the International Conference on Finance and Economics (ICFE) into an annual conference, and enhancing the effectiveness of Bata Center’s activities at TDTU, expanding training and research cooperation for new majors including artificial intelligence, information technology, automation, multimedia communication, polymer and material technology, etc.

UTB has been a strategic international partner with TDTU since 2011. The two sides have had many specific exchange and cooperation activities with high cohesion, such as professor, scientist and student yearly exchange; training, academic exchange; organizing international conferences, etc. TDTU and UTB have jointly built and established the University Consortium International (UCI) consisting of 10 members in 9 countries, aiming to exchange and learn from each other to promote the process of integration and internationalization of each university, towards sustainable development.
