From July 25 to August 21, 2023, a group of international students from universities in the United Kingdom participated in an exchange program at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). The students, whose nationalities are British, Polish, American, French, Omani and Afghan, are studying at University of Kent, Cardiff University, Swansea University, University of Central Lancashire.
Twenty-one international students learned about Vietnamese culture through attending Vietnamese language classes, having trips to the Mekong Delta and Cu Chi tunnels, as well as trying making coffee and participating in other exchange activities. The students are awarded a certificate of course completion from TDTU at the end of the program.
Over the years, TDTU has become a favorable place for international cooperation, education and research through the increase in continuous and periodic international student exchanges and cultural exchanges. The short-term courses for international students at TDTU contribute to promoting and strengthening cooperation activities between the University and international partners, attracting lecturers and international students to study and exchange at the University. Thus, TDTU lecturers and students are given an opportunity to connect with friends from many countries around the world, promoting the internationalization of the University.
