Leaders of Ton Duc Thang University visited and worked with the Embassy of Vietnam in Czech Republic, and the Union of Vietnamese People Associations in Europe

On the afternoon of June 1, 2023, in Prague, Czech Republic, the delegation of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) led by Dr. Tran Trong Dao, the University President, visited and worked with the Embassy of Vietnam in Czech Republic. Working with the delegation were Mr. Thai Xuan Dung, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam, and Mr. Hoang Dinh Thang, Chairman of the Union of Vietnamese People Associations in Europe and member of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and Mr. Giang Thanh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in the Czech Republic, together with officials of the Embassy of Vietnam in the Czech Republic, representatives of leaders of the Vietnamese Association in Europe and in the Czech Republic.
At the meeting, Dr. Tran Trong Dao, on behalf of the delegation, informed about TDTU’s cooperation results with partners in the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland in the fields of education, exchanging professors and scientists as well as strengthening applied research activities and co-organizing scientific conferences in the near future.
Ambassador Thai Xuan Dung highly appreciated the development of TDTU in recent years. He also praised the University’s initiative in effectively implementing educational activities and international cooperation with universities in Europe, especially in the Czech Republic. The Ambassador wished the delegation a successful business trip and expected TDTU to continue to maintain its position with rapid development, quality and sustainability in the coming time.
On this occasion, at the Embassy of Vietnam in Czech Republic, TDTU and the Union of Vietnamese People Associations in Europe signed a MoU to cooperate in developing culture and education, giving students opportunities to have their internship and working period at Vietnamese enterprises in Europe. This would promote scientific research and technology transfer with universities in the region, expand employment opportunities for Vietnamese citizens, promote two-way trade and investment, and have domestic products to be internationally introduced, contributing to promoting the image of the country and Vietnamese people in Europe.
