The 8th International Conference on Advanced Engineering - Theory and Applications 2023: AETA 2023 took place from 15th - 16th December 2023 at Pukyong National University (PKNU), Busan, South Korea.
The AETA Conference was founded and organized for the first time by Ton Duc Thang University in 2013 and has now become a prestigious scientific conference that is held periodically. In 2023, the Conference is co-hosted by TDTU, Pukyong National University (PKNU, Korea), Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), Texas Tech University (USA), and sponsored by the Korean Society of Manufacturing Process Engineers (KSMPE).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, the Vice President of TDTU and Chairman of the Conference, expressed his thanks and congratulations to PKNU for attentively organizing the Conference. Dr. Vo Hoang Duy mentioned that this is the 4th time the AETA Conference is being held outside of Vietnam, and the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, he affirmed that the AETA has become an exclusive opportunity for scientists and technical experts to discuss their research findings as well as ideas to improve the community’s quality of life towards sustainable development.
AETA 2023 has attracted the attention and participation of leading experts from various countries around the world, with 53 full-text articles and 24 summary reports on the ongoing research findings. The research articles range from different scientific and technical areas, including Computer Science and Information Networks, Advanced Materials Science, Mechatronics Engineering, Clean Energy and Energy Engineering, Communications and Signal Processing, and Automatic Control and Robotics Engineering. Scholar experts participating in the Conference were also very impressed by the keynote speakers from the USA and Korea on new theoretical topics such as non-linear control, the process of developing research results from ideas to practice, and advanced robotic technology during COVID-19 quarantines.
