Ton Duc Thang University signed an MOU with National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University

On December 8, 2023, the delegation of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) led by Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President visited and worked with National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan.

The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Chi-Hung Lin - President, Dr. Wensyang Hsu - Vice President and heads of NYCU’s units.

The leaders of TDTU and NYCU signed a University-level MOU in the fields of student exchange and professional internships. TDTU’s Faculty of Applied Sciences also signed an agreement to exchange students studying at the College of Science and the Institute of Microbiology and Immunology of NYCU.

The two universities discussed further about the possibility of joint training to grant dual degrees in Semiconductor Technology; 1-semester research internship program in the field of Semiconductor Electronics at NYCU; exchange programs for professors and lecturers of the two universities; Encourage NYCU’s professors to join TDTU's friendly professor network.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited NYCU's laboratories on semiconductor technology.

NYCU is a Top 500 University according to THE World University Rankings 2024. This is Taiwan's leading training and research university in Semiconductor Technology and the Research Center for New Semiconductor Technology of Asia.
