Working with the Global Startup Support Center of Soonchunhyang University

On December 13, 2022, the Global Startup Support Center of Soonchunhyang University (SCH), South Korea visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Representatives from SCH were Prof. Sun Joo Ryu - Head of the Global Startup Support Center and other professors, researchers and experts.

Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach - Acting Director of International Cooperation, Research & Training Institute; Mr. Tang Khac Quy - Director of Center of Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni, alongside TDTU representatives welcomed the delegation of SCH.

At the meeting, Prof. Sun Joo Ruy expressed her impression of TDTU’s training environment, and the initiative and creativity of TDTU students; and concurrently hoped that the cooperation between the two sides would contribute to create more opportunities for students with successful startups.

The two sides discussed potential cooperation programs in the following contents: building start-up models in Korea and researching some suitable models for application in Vietnam; sharing methods and experiences to transform from university research models to startup models in practice; cooperating to solve innovative issues in science – technology in the university’s range and to exploit other potentials beside startups.

On this occasion, TDTU also supported SCH’s experts to organize a practical survey program to collect Vietnamese consumers’ opinions about healthcare-related startup products.

SCH was established in 1978 and currently has 6 universities and 6 graduate schools. It is rated as the best medical training university in Korea with many successful students’ startup models.
