Bunpimay and Chol Chnam Thmay for Lao and Cambodian international students studying at TDTU
On April 16, at Ton Duc Thang University, the traditional Tet Bunpimay - Laos in 2022 will be held for Lao and Cambodian students studying and researching at the Tan Phong Campus.
At the event, many meaningful and practical activities will be organized such as: New Year greetings, giving gifts to international students, organizing traditional Bunpimay Tet ceremonies according to Lao tradition, etc. In addition, many special music and dance performances were performed by students from Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
The event showcases the appreciation and care of Ton Duc Thang University to international students, especially Lao and Cambodian students. In addition, it is also an opportunity to show the solidarity and long-standing attachment between the two countries and two ethnic groups. This year, due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, many Lao and Cambodian students were not able to return home to celebrate Tet.
Through this activity, the University also wants to create opportunities for foreign students from Lao and Cambodia to interact with Vietnamese students, learn about the traditional cultures between the two countries, thereby creating good integration in the process of studying and researching at Ton Duc Thang University. Especially, after returning their home countries, they will be strong friendship bridges in the special relationship between Ton Duc Thang University and Laos and Cambodia.
