2 World Friends Korea – Techno Peace Corps This programs aims at sharing Korea’s development experiences with other countries around the world and at supporting their economic and social development. As one of the grant aid projects targeting developing countries, the program is handled by KOICA, an affiliate organization of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Korean specialists and experts can apply to come to developing countries to provide their services such as consulting, teaching, and doing research. 3 TRAC – Taylor-made Recycled Aggregate Concrete The aim of the project is to develop tailor-made concretes by using recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) for structural applications to promote the increased use of RCA in civil infrastructure projects, particularly in marine environment which is currently restricted. RCA can be defined as crushed concrete composed of aggregate fragments coated with cement paste or cement mortar from the demolition of old structures or pavements.
