Universiti Teknologi Malaysia

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (also known as UTM) is a public research-intensive university in engineering, science and technology located in Skudai, Johor and it has a branch campus in Kuala Lumpur. UTM is a graduate-focused university with 56% of its student population consisting of postgraduate students, the highest in Malaysia. As of 2015, UTM has more than 5,000 international students from more than 120 countries, the highest research university in Malaysia.

The University of Ulsan

The University of Ulsan (UOU) was founded on February 19, 1969 as the Ulsan Institute of Technology. The University was promoted to a full-fledged University on March 1, 1985. The university is located in Mugeo-dong, Ulsan, South Korea. The University currently has approximately 10,500 students enrolled.

The city of Ulsan has been recognized as the Korean city which was built around the corporate base of the multinational Hyundai conglomerate. Thus, the Hyundai Conglomerate announced its plan to give 40 billion won to assist a variety of university-industry cooperation projects.

Nanhua University

Nanhua University (NHU) was founded in 1996 by Venerable Master Hsing Yun. Funded through the support of millions of Fo Guang Shan followers, NHU is the first comprehensive and multidisciplinary university established by Fo Guang Shan. NHU is a member of the Fo Guang Shan International University Consortium, the country’s first cross-nation university system. NHU educational philosophy is based on the principles of diligence, honesty, and humility.

Southern Cross University

Southern Cross University began life as Lismore Teacher’s College in 1970. After a series of expansions and responses to government legislation for larger institutions in the 1970s and 1980s, a state review of higher education in northern New South Wales led to the announcement that a new university would be established there – and in 1994, Southern Cross University opened its doors.

University of Hasselt

Established as the Limburg University Centre in 1973, Hasselt University started with just two faculties and did not become known by its current name until 2005. The institution is located in the small city of Hasselt in northeast Belgium. Today the university has six faculties: architecture and arts, business economics, medicine and life science, engineering technology, law, and sciences, as well as a newly established school of transportation.

Tomas Bata University in Zlín

Founded in 2001, Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Czech Republic, offers courses in technology, economics, health care and the arts. Its origins go back to a technology vocational college set up in 1969, and its name celebrates the founder of the shoe industry in Zlin.
