The Cambodian delegation of the Ministry of Education, Youth, Sport and alumni visited Ton Duc Thang University

On the morning of December 12th, 2017, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) welcomed the Cambodian delegation of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and the alumni from the Kingdom of Cambodia to visit and work with TDTU. The head of the delegation was Mr. Yuok Ngoy, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of Cambodia. They are accompanied by Mr. Pham Chi Cuong, Vice Director of International Cooperation Department, Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training; representatives from the two ministries of education in Vietnam and Cambodia and 50 former Cambodian exchange students who studied in Vietnam and are currently working in different ministries of Cambodia. Of representatives from TDTU, there are Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Vice President; Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice President and leaders of departments and centers.
After being shown around TDTU, Mr. Yuok Ngoy and the delegation expressed strong impression on the modernity of TDTU; as well as the significant development of the school. “TDTU is a very modern and well-equipped university and worth the title “21stcentury university””, said Mr. Yuok Ngoy.
On occasion of the visit, TDTU also shared its opinions on the possibilities of the cooperation with Cambodian universities. Dr. Tran Trong Dao also announced the scholarship policy for Cambodian students who are studying at TDTU in the academic year 2018-2019. This is a scholarship program funded by the university to create conditions for young Cambodians to study at TDTU as well as to strengthen the development of educational relations between the two countries.
