Ton Duc Thang University comprehensively cooperates with Malaya University

On the afternoon of February 26, 2019 Associate Professor Yong Zulina Zubairi, Vice-president of University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Vice President of TDTU and Associate Professor Yong Zulina Zubairi discussed the potential of cooperation between the two sides in education and research such as student exchange, building undergraduate and postgraduate programs that award two degrees; participating in implementing mutual research projects. Under the cooperation agreement, UM will welcome students from TDTU’s Faculty of Sports Science to study and practice at UM as well as visit businesses and sports clubs in Malaysia.

The University of Malaya was founded in 1905 and currently has about 20,000 students with more than 2,000 international students pursuing undergraduate and graduate programs. This is Malaysia’s leading public university that is ranked 87th in the world (according to QS World University Rankings 2019).

Associate Professor Yong Zulina Zubairi expressed the impression about TDTU’s modern and comprehensively developed environment. She told the reality after the actual visit this time that TDTU is not inferior to famous universities in the world. The design at TDTU gave her a feeling of being present in Europe. She believes that youthfulness, dynamism and relentless efforts will quickly make TDTU become a high-ranking university in prestigious university rankings of the world.
