Ton Duc Thang University welcomes the Consulate of Thailand in Vietnam

In the afternoon of October 15, 2019, the delegation of Thai Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). Members of the Delegation include Mr. Apirat Sugondhabhirom, Consul General; Mr. Natthapol Na Songkhla, Deputy Principal Officer; Mr. Yuttalid Bunnag, Consul; and Mr. Supreecha Pinij, Assistant Consul General.

Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Vice president; Assoc. Prof. Le Thi Mai, Dean’s Assistant of Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities; Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Foreign Languages; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Hue, Director of Vietnam Learning and Vietnamese Center for Foreigners; and Dr. Thi Ngoc Bao Dung, Head’s Assistant of Graduate Studies Department welcomed and worked with the delegation.

At the meeting, Dr. Tran Trong Dao discussed with the delegation about the potential cooperation between TDTU and the Consulate as well as high schools in Thailand in education and research; about the scholarships for international students studying at TDTU. Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Hue also informed about the learning situation of Thai international students at TDTU. 

Mr. Apirat Sugondhabhirom expressed his excitement about TDTU's achievements and highly appreciated the potential cooperation between the two sides, especially the student exchange program with TDTU.
