The University of Waikato was established in 1964. It is one of eight public universities located in Hamilton, New Zealand and is New Zealand's most innovative and flexible development university. It is ranked in the Top 500 by Times Higher Education Rankings 2022 and Top 400 by QS Rankings 2022. Waikato School of Business and Management is in the top 1% of the best business schools in the world and is ranked in the Top 125 of THE Ranking 2022 in the subject of Economics and Finance.
The University of Waikato is an internationally recognized training institution with hundreds of different training programs that aim to prepare graduates for work. Currently, there are more than 12,000 students enrolled, including nearly 2,500 international students.
