Conference on Cooperation in Education between Vietnam and Poland at Ton Duc Thang University

On November 13, 2023, Ton Duc Thang University coordinated with the Polish Embassy in Vietnam and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) to hold a Conference to connect and foster cooperation opportunities among territories in Vietnam and Poland.
The event was honored to welcome the presence of Ms. Justyna Pabian - Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Poland in Vietnam; Dr. Zofia Sawicka - Deputy Director General of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and representatives of 7 leading Polish universities including WSG University; AGH University of Krakow; Wroclaw University of Science & Technology; University of Lodz; Poznan College of Communications & Management; Cracow University of Technology; Silesian University of Technology.
On behalf of Vietnam, there was the participation of Ton Duc Thang University; International University, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City; University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City; Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education; Tra Vinh University; Hoa Sen University; Van Hien University.
At the Conference, participants presented and introduced the potential and strengths of each university and the necessity of international cooperation programs in higher education for mutual development. The parties also discussed particular student/lecturer exchange programs, joint programs, and cooperative activities on education - training and joint scientific research projects among universities.
The Polish Embassy in Vietnam and NAWA have been impressed and highly appreciated TDTU’s educational environment and strong international cooperation and integration policy so far, so they asked TDTU to host the Conference to create a connection between Polish education, Polish universities and TDTU in particular and with Vietnamese universities in general.
On the same afternoon, the Polish Embassy in Vietnam, NAWA agency and Polish universities successfully organized a Poland Education Fair to consult students interested in studying abroad in Poland at TDTU. The event aimed to help students gain the opportunity to access scholarships from prestigious Polish universities and learn about the learning environment in Poland - an ideal country for those who wish to study abroad in Europe.
