Newcastle University students participating in the study and cultural exchange at Ton Duc Thang University

On December 3, 2022, a delegation of Newcastle University students came to study and exchange cultures with students of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
The delegation took a guided tour around Tan Phong campus, was provided with an introduction about Ton Duc Thang University and participated in teambuilding activities with international volunteer team (IVT) and TDTU students.
At TDTU, students of Newcastle University and students of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of TDTU carried out the project "Controlling the trajectory of a mobile robot". Through the project, students from the two universities had the opportunity to collaborate in research, determine the specifications of the robot, design the trajectory and program the system for the robot to operate correctly and efficiently.
Prof. James Welsh - the leader of the student delegation of Newcastle University expressed his impression of the initiative and friendliness of TDTU students; and he believes that through exchange activities, students of the two universities will have more practical experiences. The students expressed their interest in their experiences at TDTU and wished to have more opportunities to study and exchange cultures here in the future.
