TDTU welcomes and collaborates with the Delegation of The Polish Embassy and The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange

On November 13, 2023, TDTU welcomed the Delegation of the Polish Embassy and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

The meeting was attended by Ms. Justyna Pabian, Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Poland in Vietnam; Dr. Zofia Sawicka - Deputy Director General of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA); and representatives of the top seven prestigious Polish universities.

From TDTU, there were Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President; Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach – Director of the International Cooperation, Research & Training Institute (INCRETI); and some leaders of TDTU’s subordinate units.

At the meeting, the two parties discussed cooperative activities in education and training, connecting the academic and research communities of the two countries, from which a premise for promoting upcoming cooperation projects between Polish educational units and TDTU will be set up. 

On this occasion, the Polish Embassy donated the Polish literature corner to TDTU Library. Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President of TDTU received the book corner and expressed his thanks for the meaningful gift. The Polish literature corner aims to increase TDTU students’ access to Polish literature through excellent Nobel Prize-winning works. At the same time, prizes were awarded to students participating in the book review contest with the theme “Polish Literature: Read & Snap”.

Over the years, TDTU and the Polish universities have had many cooperation programs on student/lecturer exchange in the form of Erasmus+ scholarships, co-organizing conferences/workshops in the field of education and research. The above activities have contributed to the promotion of TDTU’s image of comprehensive integration and internationalization of the University.
