TDTU INTERNATIONAL SUMMER PROGRAM 2024

This summer, immerse yourself in a unique learning experience at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in the vibrant heart of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC)! TDTU International Summer Program is the perfect way to discover Southeast Asian life and explore beautiful Vietnam. Included in the course are a series of cultural activities to help you experience the uniqueness of local culture and diverse cuisine.

To be eligible to apply, you must:

• Be currently enrolled in an institution of higher education.
• Be able to understand lectures in English (All classes and workshops are taught in English)

Step 1: Preparation for application documents

• Application Form with a photo(passport size) attached (Downloaded here)
• A letter of recommendation from home university
• Academic Transcript in English
• Copy of the first two pages of the Passport
• A copy of travel insurance coverage
• A certificate of program fee payment

5 first applicants will get a special offer: 40 USD discount on the program fee.

The program fees are shown in the table and include accommodation for 15-21 July 2024 or 15-27 July 2024.
The program fee includes:

• Classes and workshops (instruction, arrangements and administrative support)
• On-campus accommodation
• Local transportation
• Pick up & drop off service
• Student support
• Cultural exchange activities and tour expenses

Deposit & refund

Participants from non-partner universities are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee when they accept their offer of admission.  The registration fee is 50 USD for one student.

TDTU is an ideal place for international students in the form of a summer program. Besides state-of-the-art learning environments, we also offer students many support services such as:

Visa

It is students’ responsibility to check with their country and the embassy if visa is requested to enter Vietnam. Students who need a visa will have to make their own arrangements to apply for it before they arrive in Vietnam. We will send you a Letter of Admission after receiving payment and assist students on how to apply for an electronic visa.

Accommodation

Experience hassle-free living as part of your course package! Enjoy the convenience of the TDTU dormitory. Dive into your studies and explore the city with peace of mind, knowing your stay is taken care of.

• Shared accommodation (twin room or quad room)
• Each room is equipped with beds, wardrobes, tables and chairs, and a private bathroom
• The bedding (a blanket and a pillow) is provided for each student.
• Towels are not provided.
• Self-service laundry room.
• No cooking and electric appliances allowed

Orientation

Orientation helps international students with an easier transition to TDTU campus life and to Vietnamese culture. Through campus tours, many places in TDTU are discovered and queries about the campus, community, culture, and how to connect with new friends can be solved out.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not covered by the program fees. The purchase of travel insurance before departure to Vietnam that is valid for the entire duration of travel is the responsibility of each participant and is strongly recommended.

International Volunteer Team (IVT)

At TDTU, our International Volunteer Team (IVT) will support international students with both on and o­ff-campus services. As local students, IVT has strong knowledge and understanding about Vietnamese culture and can help you out in any difficulties you may have. They will be your first Vietnamese buddies who facilitate your stay with us and remain in touch with you to develop a global friendship network.
