Joining in a student exchange program abroad, you can open yourself to a world of opportunities. The adventure lasts for a semester or a year but the experience will enrich the rest of your life. In this program, you will experience living in another country for a period of time and return with new knowledge, cultural understanding, maturity and lifelong friends from Vietnam.

Our student exchange program ranges from 1 semester to a full academic year and the available courses will be updated every semester for students’ choices. All the results will be transferred back to your home university to be put on record.

TDTU is an ideal place for international student in form of short-term programs. Besides state-of-the-art learning environments, we also offer students many support services such as:


TDTU will support international students to submit the visa application in Vietnam and the scanned copy of approved documents will be sent to student's email. Then, students can get a visa from the Vietnam Embassy in their country after 2 weeks of application.

Airport service

TDTU arranges the airport service to make your arrival and departure from the city as smoothly as possible. Please contact us in advance and we will confirm upon the availability of this service.


Students should apply for the on-campus dormitory after they submit application documents. We offer on-campus accommodations which are fully-equipped to best accommodate the life of students. Please contact us for more detailed information.

Health Insurance

Students are required to buy health insurance before coming to Vietnam. We support in providing the basic information about different options and benefits for students.

International Volunteer Team (IVT)

At TDTU we build up a group of international volunteer team (IVT) who dedicate their time to support international students with on and off-campus services. As local students, IVT has strong knowledge and understanding about Vietnamese culture and help you out in case of any difficulties you may have.

Therefore, IVT can be the first contact point prior to departure from your home country and will stay in contact with you for the whole semester.
