In the early days of 2023, several exciting internationalization activities took place at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) with many courses for students from the US, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, etc.

The cultural exchange programme at TDTU provided international students with useful knowledge and skills through classes in Vietnamese language and Vietnamese culture, professional debates and presentations, visits to historical sites, scenic spots in Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Delta and many other exchange activities.

On December 9, 2022, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) received a collection of valuable foreign-language books about Japan presented by the Nippon Foundation as part of the Read Japan Project.

Attending the ceremony, on the side of the Japanese Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, were Mr. Watanabe Nobuhiro - Consul General of Japan, Mr. Shiraishi Hideyuki - Head of Culture and Education Department, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao Uyen - Cultural Officer.

On the morning of December 7, 2022, the representatives of Regensburg University of Applied Sciences (OTH Regensburg), Germany, led by Prof. Markus Westner - Head of the International Cooperation Department visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

On December 3, 2022, a delegation of Newcastle University students came to study and exchange cultures with students of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

The delegation took a guided tour around Tan Phong campus, was provided with an introduction about Ton Duc Thang University and participated in teambuilding activities with international volunteer team (IVT) and TDTU students.

From November 14, 2022 to November 25, 2022, a short-term exchange program between La Trobe University (Australia) and Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) was organized with the participation of students from La Trobe University. La Trobe University students would cooperate with students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of TDTU to jointly implement the project "Technology for research, development and production of medicines in Vietnam".
